Wii Fun!

So, one of the things I bought as an impulse buy on black friday was a Wii.  I was in Target and they had a big stack of them, so I bought one.  Kept it hidden away and put it under the Christmas tree as a family present.

Emily thinks it's awesome.  We only have 3 games for it so far... Wii Sports, Wee Party Games (air hockey, darts, skee ball, hoops).. and Sonic & the Magic Rings or something.  Plus all the gamecube games, nice that it supports those.

I have to admit, it is kinda fun =)

I hoe you all had a Merry Christmas!

Cool Optical Illusions

My sister sent me some cool optical illusions.  I'm going to put some space between each one so they will appear on the screen by themselves.

Just scroll down to get to them....

Charlie, a Magical Leoplurodon (Liopleurodon) and Candy Mountain

I don't know what it is about this stupid video that makes me want to watch it every couple of days.

Click to watch Candy Mountain

What is a leoplurodon?  I did find one definition on the internet:  "A possibly fictional reptile creature" (answers.com).

Urbin Dictionary just taught me that it's actually spelled "Liopleurodon" which is a real dinosaur that lived 155 million years ago.  Wikipedia even has an article about it, which mentions "Charlie the Unicorn" (see above)

Anyway, I think I've wasted enough of my time.  And yours.

Kermit does Nine Inch Nails

Okay, this is kind of disturbing.

It's Kermit the Frog, sitting on a chair - MTV Unplugged style - singing "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails.

Without further comment...

If that doesn't load, click here.

Okay, for the first time ever, I'm goig to embed a youtube video in my blog.

This is a parody of cops, called "Troops" that features Storm Troomers.  Looks like it takes place on Tatooine.

I know this is old, but years ago, someone did a complete ASCII animation of the movie "Star Wars".  Check it out here.

Here's a "screen shot"

Do Geek Parents Raise Geek Children?

The results are in...

One of the coldfusion bloggers that I read regularly, Ray Camden, wrote a really amusing blog entry about Star Wars and his 5 year old son.

Ray is a Star Wars freak, as you can tell by the title of his blog, "cf Jedi Master," and he has several young children - and a 5 year old boy, in particular, who is the main subject of his story.

Read the story here.  It's funny.  Look for my comment and his response, too =)
