Making the First Offer

We've officially submtted an offer on one of the houses we looked at:

http://www.hpw.com/SearchPages/Detail.aspx?MlsNum=791343

The house, which is 2050 square feet, is listed at $219,900.  It's a foreclosure, and the yard needs work.  Also, the previous owners self-installed some nasty looking pergo flooring in most of the lower level - and they self-installed it poorly.

Most of the homes that have sold in Crockett's Ridge have sold for around $100/square foot, so we're going that route.  Our offer is for $205,000 with closing at the end of June, contingent on the sale of our house.

Adrienne and I signed both the buyers agency agreement with Kevin, and the listing agreement as well so our house will officially be on the market early next week probably, with showings starting no earlier than the 24th of April (a Sunday).  You see, our garage sale is the 23rd, and Adrienne is out of town this weekend.  I think she's gonna take a day off next week to do some painting.

Well anyway, here's hoping!  Check back for further details!
